Frequently Asked Questions

Enable the aspect ratio lock before entering dimensions. When locked, changing the width automatically updates the height to keep the same proportions, preventing stretching or squishing.

Print typically requires 300 DPI. For an A4 print (8.27 × 11.69 inches), that means a minimum of 2480 × 3508 pixels. For screen display, 72–96 DPI is standard.

Scaling down (reducing dimensions) generally preserves quality well. Scaling up (enlarging) can cause blurriness because new pixels are interpolated. Saving as JPEG or WebP also applies lossy compression — use PNG to avoid that.
