It depends on the layout. A 2×2 grid uses up to 4 photos, a 3×3 uses up to 9, and a 1+2 layout uses up to 3. Extra photos beyond the slot count are ignored.

Empty slots are filled with a light gray placeholder color. You can still create the collage and download it — unfilled slots simply stay gray.

You can choose from Square (1000×1000), HD Landscape (1920×1080), HD Portrait (1080×1920), and A4 (2480×3508 at 300 DPI). All outputs are PNG.

Photos are scaled and cropped to fill each slot using a cover-fit approach — the image fills the slot fully without letterboxing, centering the crop automatically.
